National Park locates on 4 provinces are Nakhon Rachasima (na-korn rard-cha-see-mar), Nakhon Nayok (na-korn nar-yog), Saraburi (sa-ra-bu-ree), and Prachinburi (prar-jeen-bu-ree). This park was declared to be a first national park of Thailand on 18th September 1962 and presents, being a world heritage by United Nation.
Khao Yai National Park covers an area of over 2000 square kilometers. The park encompasses a wide variety of habitats, including sub-montane evergreen forests and grasslands. There are also several mountains of around 1000 metres including Khao Khieo. Host to almost 2,500 plant spieces, 67 different kinds of mammals and over 300 species of birds. The abundant wildlife includes many endangered mammals such as elephants, gibbons, tigers, leopards and Malaysian sun bears. The entire area is criss-crossed by hiking trails, ranging in length from one and a half to eight kilometres. There are in addition many waterfalls, the tallest and most spectacular of which is Haew Narok at 80 metres. Another waterfall, Haeo Suwat, is located along te upper reaches of the Lam Takhong River

The Thai in the central plain prefer food with smooth and lasting taste with a touch of sweetness. Rice is strictly food for every family in the central region. Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui , Thailand remains the most beautiful on the island. Wandering down from your coconut palm-shaded hut to the white-dust sand to the crystal clear water is an unforgettable experience. It's just a shame that today you have such a short window of opportunity to enjoy it - between sunrise and 7am, at the most. After that the deckchairs, vendors, masseurs, jet-skis and other noisy stuff begin their parade and within a few hours, it's a mess. Of course, if you like all that hustle and bustle, you'll love Chaweng beach.
At night, if your windows are not screened -- rare now -- keep your bags under your bed as crafty thieves have been known to use hooked poles to drag items out while you sleep. Also beware if you check into a room with an open-air bathroom, which have become the latest rage.
The most obvious sign of Chaweng's unbridled development is that its main road still horribly floods after even the briefest of rain-storms. Due to the substantial loss of the island's trees, waves diluted red by topsoil wash down to fill the road -- Amazing Thailand, indeed.
