Patpong is located between to main roads, Silom Road and Surawong Road in Bangkok, Thailand in south east Asia. Patpong, better known for its raunchy nightlife also has a few dance clubs and party places among the saucy shows, lovely sexy naughty hostess, Thai boxing shows and karaoke bars. The area is located along the BTS Sky train where you can easily access every part of Bangkok both to the river and the central shopping area.
Patpong is also known as a thriving gay and lesbian bar scene as it is next to Silom Soi 4 (gay soi), which attracts tourists from all over the world. In Bangkok, the gay bars are concentrated along Silom Soi 2 and Soi 4, with Soi 2 or Patpong being considered 'more gay'. Other bars can be found sprinkled along Sukhumvit, especially Soi 23, and Tanao Road in the Banglumpoo area.
Patpong night market is one of the features of this area as it’s full of souvenirs, cheap clothes and fake brand name items. Make sure you bargain for every single thing you buy or you will find out you have just lost an amount of money you should not have paid.
